Each Lactomannan’s sachet contains 3,6 g of lactulose crystals and 1,5 g of glucomannan (type E425).
It has a nice orange taste.

Indications

LACTOMANNAN, acts on the main causes of the contributory factors of constipation, since it has the below features:

  • Formation of a major fecal mass with the reactivation of the peristalsis;
  • Reduction of the intestinal pH with further stimulation of the peristalsis and decreasing of the intestinal transit time;
  • Healthy action, with development of healthy bacteria as lactobacillus and bifidobacteria and production of S.C.F.A. ( Short-Chain Fatty Acids) that improve the intestinal function.

It is indicated for:

  • Chronic functional constipation caused by diverticular disease, ibs (colitis);
  • To facilitate the evacuation before and after haemorrhoidectomy and in Patients with anal fissures;
  • Useful as maintenance after using PEG or Macrogol.

Due to the lack of appreciable side effects, it can be used in all ranges of age, pregnant, in patients with cardio-respiratory, renal, hepatic, neurologic, diabetic patients and in patients with celiac disease.
It has no chelating action on minerals – does not contain aspartame and other – does not contain lactose (included in the AIC list) – does not contain gluten and nickel- does not contain sugars- it does not form gel.

Dosage

Use preferably between meals at empty stomach.

  • Adults: 1 or 2 sachets per day according the medical advice for at least 30 days;
  • Children: ½ or 1 sachet per day according the medical advice.

Mix the content of one sachet in half a glass of water, followed by another glass of water, mix again and drink rapidly
